Comment: Rough day indeed. Luckily I only lost a few fish. Sorry to hear about your phone, live4fish; and John, glad you're okay.

See you at the next one, fellas! =)

Comment: Sorry to hear about that John. My brother bought a Cuda this season. First time out, in the high seat position, he flipped it 5 minutes into his maiden voyage! It happens. He has used the low seating ever since :) I'm sure you're doing your research on a new yak. I feel extremely comfortable in my Ride, never a thought of flipping. You're more than welcome to give it a test drive if interested.

Comment: Sorry to hear about the Spill John. Glad to hear it wasn't too bad (minus the lost gear). Were you standing? Did it capsize?

Someone's going to get a good deal on that boat.

Comment: What a day. First time I've gone over in four years of kayak fishing. I lost one of my setups (Abu Vendetta rod and ProMax reel) and my scale to Poseidon but otherwise came out none the worse for wear beyond a bruised ego and waders full of water. Even my cell phone survived after an overnight in a bag of rice. Sadly, I was on fish too! I had a 1.8 in the bag and had just lost another keeper to a broken swivel. In the meantime, the Jackson is for sale. No more fishing from the barcolounger.
